Adidas accounts department really bad

I just want to re-iterate how dissatisfied I am with the online experience. Adidas cancelled my order because the item was not available any longer. After 16 days and still waiting for my refund, Adidas got back and asking for my bank statement for proof?? Why must I show proof but they cannot check their accounts?
