ADDIDAS runs away from 8 year old child
Daughters white Addidas sneakers bought at Access Park Stikland has mould under loose inner soles. A while ago we purchased sneakers from you for our daughter who wears them as part of her school uniform. I noticed a pungent smell emminating from the sneakers and on closer inspection saw black mould under the loose inner soles. Obviously one expects there to be a little odour but NO mould! Even her "Maxed" Mr Price sneakers don't smell or have mould growing in them! The sneakers don't get used in water, for swimming or unusual physical activities. We no longer have the box or receipt but can trace on our bank statement when the sneakers were purchased. We are sorely disappointed ADDIDAS

We would unfortunately not be able to assist without the proof of purchase – we cannot gauge how long these have been in the customer’s possession without it and check if it is still within the 6 month defective warranty. This does sound as though the shoes got wet somehow (could be due to rain) or not proper ventilation as dark, warm, moist environment for footwear creates the perfect lair for fungus to thrive. The insoles, for example, are prone to dampness from perspiration, whereas the outer materials remain exposed to outside elements.
