3 months for a refund?!?!?!

Waiting for a refund for almost 3 months.

I requested a return for two orders. No courier was sent for weeks. After sending an email, a courier company came to collect TWO ADIDAS parcels. I had asked for a waybill, but was not given one. A day later the courier company calls me to say that there is a query and that ADIDAS Should just contact the courier company to sort out the query. I had emailed Adidas, with the contact details and was provided with a response from ADIDAS saying it was sorted out. (I have emails to prove it).

Over a month later, I sent an email to say I have still not received my refund. No response yet again. After another email, I get a call to say, that ADIDAS received no parcel. The person who contacts me then says, he will phone the courier company. (Did no one previously phone???) After sometime I had received a call to say, Adidas can not refund me because I gave the parcels to the wrong courier company as they do not work with the courier company which collected the parcels.

Few issues here. 1. Till today, no other "CORRECT" company has come to collect any ADIDAS parcel. Why is that? Why was the only courier which specifically asked for ADIDAS parcels the wrong courier? And if in fact, I am accused of lying, why has ADIDAS still not sent a "CORRECT" courier 3 months later?

2. Why was I assured the problem was resolved with the courier company? If at the time, I was told it was the wrong courier company I could have sorted it out. But I was assured it was sorted out. Yet, a month later, ADIDAS only followed up on it after I had to yet again beg for my refund.

3. I live in an extreme outlying area. Most courier companies use partner companies when collecting parcels from this area. Claiming that the company which collected the parcel is not a company ADIDAS uses and therefore can't refund me is absurd. Again, I was assured they had contacted the number I had provided. Contacted ADIDAS via email and Instagram, was assured someone would contact me. Almost two weeks later. .. I am still waiting!!!!
