Using a Voucher,means terrible service...
I recently purchase a Hyperli voucher for Adega and decided to use it at the Boksburg branch. I presented the voucher to the waiter, who just walked away without even taking my order for drinks or asking me how I would like my order to prepared(hot, mild, lemon butter) or take an order for my kids. When we requested for her to take our drinks order, she was clearly not aware of what fresh juices they had or if they had kiddie juices. We let it slide thinking she was a trainee. She then comes back and tells us that the voucher is only for two people, accompanied by her manager, who was rather rude and indicated to us that by law, he could only serve the voucher for two people.. I could not understand this.Firstly ,she didn't even ask us about our order when she took the voucher, neither did she take my kids order and the voucher was clearly for me and my husband, as my kids don't eat prawns and there was no other adults accompanying us.. We tried to explain to the manager but realized that you are considered a cheapskate when you purchase a voucher. You get poor service and to top it off bad attitude. Why does this Franchise advertise on hyperli if the service is going to be second grade. The manager refused to give me his name, so I walked out and refuse to be treated in that manner. I really did not appreciate the manner in which my family was treated, my kids had to bear the embarrassment as other customers were now paying attention to our table. This was a terrible experience and the manager did not even apologize ... Not pleased at all.....
