Racially Prejudiced
We bought a voucher off Hyperli, for a main course meal at Adega Rivonia/Bedfordview/Benoni. Our call to Adega Rivonia, we were told that Adega Bedfordview would honour our voucher deal.
We called Adega Bedfordview to make a reservation and confirm that we'd be received and our deal would be honoured.
On arrival, none of the staff attended to us, the white managers who were standing by the entrance offered no help. A lovely African lady helped us and took us to a table. A few moments later, an Indian waiter wanted to remove us from the table. No one took our order, or paid attention to us.
After the white manager and Indian waiter took our voucher, they immediately told us to leave as they don't deal with Hyperli on weekends. But we called to confirm and make a reservation, how dare you tell us to leave now. Only the African lady was of help while the Indian and white man wanted us to Leave because there was a majority white audience and an Afrikaner singer. So their space was exclusively for white people. Even though we made a reservation, we were disrespected, humiliated and racially profiled as a young African couple
