Off tasting chicken and Handled untastefully by the manager

<p>I went for lunch today with family. Only to find the portions are half the size of what it used to be. Paying R74 for a small chicken salad seems unreasonable. My main issue being the chicken in the salad which tasted off. I brought this under the attention of our waitor politely after which I asked for a discount on the salad as I ate the remains of the salad, not wanting a chicken salad remade as my appetite was rather spoilt. The manager then came to me saying quite abruptly she smelled the chicken, she tasted the chicken and it's fine so can she make me another salad. Again I explained to her politely I would prefer a discount instead of a new salad and my reason for this. Apon receiving the bill she gave me a discount of R10. I don't ever have a problem with paying for food and I never ask for discounts but honostly, paying R64 for a porridge bowl of tossed green salad is down right crazy and unacceptable. I will never visit Adega's again and I will spread the word as far as I go.</p>
