Horrible food at Emmarentia

<p>I eat at Adega express (Sandton) all the time. I know how the chicken, prawns, mild sauce, rissoles etc taste because I eat there often. If there is any change to the recipe, I notice it instantly. </p> <p> </p> <p>Anyway, when I went to Adega Express in Emmarentia, I got the shock of my life! Prawn rissoles (which we ordered as a starter) had no taste, it was basically made up of uncooked dough. I tried to hide the taste by requesting some mild Adega sauce, but when the sauce came it was tasteless. Literally tasteless! It tasted like water. I know it's hard to believe, but go there and taste it and then go to Sandton branch and taste their sauce, then you will realise what I'm talking about. The Adega Express is a complete and utter waste and *******. I called the manager and asked him why the food is tasteless, and he was as clueless as I thought about the quality of the food, saying it was fine. I asked for the owners number but was told that they are not allowed to give it out. I immediately walked out, but was asked what must they do with the main course!! Like really?! If the starter and sauce (which is used to cook the chicken) are of such bad quality, do you really expect me to wait around for the mains and have a bad experience again? I'm really frustrated and disappointed because I love Adega food. I'm off to the Sandton branch now, and here's hoping that quality hasn't deteriorated since I ate there a month ago.</p>
