Adega Rivonia awful experience

I have been eating at Adega Bryanston & Rivonia for over 8 years now. It was my favorite restaurant. When I met my boyfriend now husband, I couldn't wait to introduce him to my favorite restaurant. I am sad to say I noticed the service/food quality of the restaurant has dropped and it is not surprising that some of the Adega's have closed down. My last visit to Adega Rivonia has sealed the deal. The service I received from the unsmiling waiter was pathetic. We did not get our food delivered correctly, the salad was missing and we only realised this later after we had eaten. He also did not give us napkins or bother to swip the card machine when we finished eating. We order the seafood platter and the food was bitter, it was the worst thing I had ever tasted. The manager seemed shocked, appalled and angry that I had complained about the prawns. He had a terrible attitude all he said was I will replace it and walked of shaking his head. I did not even get an apology. He replaced it but it was still horrible tasting, not that he bothered to ask if it was better. Sorry to say Adega, this will be the last time I eat at Adega.
