Medical neglect

So here my story. Years ago i developed a hernia. It was small. The hospital Addington was to do the operation as i could not afford medical aid. They gave a date and then canceled. Never got back to me but i left it because it was small and never bothered me. Then in 2019 i injured it at work and they gave a date. Now it became the size of a tennis ball from the injury. So as i was to go in for the operation they canceled again because they never had mesh available. So i waited. They refused to send me to another hospital saying it was not an emergency. So in 2020 i asked what's the story and was told due to covid they only doing emergency operation and said mine was not. So i waited and this hernia just kept getting bigger. Nobody ever got back to me. Then in 2021 i was suffering so bad and it grew to 11cm. It was now massive. So i go ask them again what's the story. They give me another date. And then boom they canceled again saying there no beds available. Sent me home to suffer and still expected me to work etc. By now my life was becoming threatened so i had to stop paying my debts to be able to pay for medical aid. I have now done the operation privately and so far it's a success. Still recovering. What could have been a small operation that time to become a massive operation was putting my life at more risk. I'm still waiting for them to call with another date. I would have died waiting. Addington hospital has caused a small issue to become a massive issue. What was to be an hour operation turned into a 5 hour operation thanks to Addington neglect. Perhaps i should sue kzn health. Absolutely pathetic. My next step after full recovery is to look at to sue Addington. That place has become a **** hole period.... before and after pictures. Saying it's not an emergency when it is. Pathetic
