New Ingrams Camphor Cream a ****

I have been using Ingrams Camphor cream since the 70s. Yes the product has gone through changes over the years, but nothing as drastic as the recent batch of product. Firstly the new containers are a lot smaller (from 450 ml to 400 ml) and the price is the same (R59.99 at Checkers). Secondly, the consistency of the product has changed (the green one in the green container looks, feels and smells way different - it's no longer green and is like a totally new product. The moisture plus is so watery and thin, one has to be careful at application to avoid it dripping to the floor) I am so disappointed and sad because this was my favourite brand. I am paying for a 400 ml at a price of a 450 ml, with reduced quality and consistency. I feel so ******

Follow‑Up Complaint: One Month Later and Still No Resolution - Evorel 25 patches

I am submitting this follow‑up as it has now been one month since my initial complaint (29 May), and despite continuous communication from my side, the matter remains unresolved. I have had to purchase additional patches out of pocket, and I am still without the replacement packs that were repeatedly promised. Below is a factual summary of the communication to date: 18 June: Ad**** acknowledged the complaint and stated the issue was under investigation. I was told upliftment and replacement would be arranged “soon”. 19 June: I followed up requesting confirmation of delivery for the first replacement pack and collection of the second defective pack. No timelines were provided. 22 June: I was referred to another representative. I again highlighted urgency, as I had app**** my final patch and required replacement by Wednesday. 22 June: I was informed that only the same faulty batch was available and that confirmation was needed from the Brand Manager. 23 June: I was told the only available stock was from the same batch I had complained about. I confirmed that I would not accept a replacement from a faulty batch and asked again about collection of the second pack and feedback on the first. 24 June: I followed up again. I was then informed that an alternative batch with a shorter expiry (31 August 2026) was available. I immediately confirmed acceptance and asked whether the courier would call ahead. 24 June: I was told the courier would call. 25 June: I followed up once more, requesting confirmation of delivery, as I needed to apply a new patch that day. As of today, 26 June: No delivery. No collection of second pack. No confirmed dates. No resolution. After a full month, multiple emails, repeated explanations, and constant follow‑ups, I am still without the replacement packs for two defective batches. I have now had to purchase yet another pack myself to avoid interruption of hormone treatment. This level of delay, lack of urgency, and inconsistent communication is unacceptable — especially for a medical product where treatment continuity is essential. I request the following, urgently and in writing: A confirmed delivery date for the replacement pack from the alternative batch A confirmed collection date for the second defective pack Confirmation that both actions will occur without further delay I have cooperated fully at every step, provided all requested information, and followed up consistently. The ongoing back‑and‑forth without resolution reflects poorly on internal processes and customer care. I look forward to immediate action.

Company: Ad**** Ingram Product: Evorel 25 Hormone Patches Batch Number: *** (Expiry 02/2027)

Company: Ad**** Ingram Product: Evorel 25 Hormone Patches Batch Number: *** (Expiry 02/2027) I am lodging this complaint due to the ongoing mishandling of my case regarding defective Evorel 25 patches, originally reported to Ad**** on 29 May. I have been using Evorel 25 for over a year, consistently and correctly, without any issues until this batch. With my most recent repeat purchase, multiple patches in the pack were faulty — most either peeled off within 24 hours or developed the same bubble‑like defect starting in the centre and spreading outward. On 31 May, I purchased a replacement pack (same batch number: ***, exp 02/2027) and experienced the exact same issue, with most patches in that pack also showing defects. I reported the first defective pack on 29 May and provided my address for collection. The product was only collected on 9 June, despite several follow‑ups. I then reported the second defective pack and have been waiting since 10 June for the replacement to be arranged. I have repeatedly asked whether the second pack requires its own reference number so that I can submit the images — and I still have not received a clear answer. Throughout this process, I have had to repeat the same information multiple times, including batch number, expiry date, application method, and usage history. This back‑and‑forth has been extremely frustrating and unnecessary, especially considering that I have used this product correctly for over a year. For clarity: Application was on dry skin No oils, creams, or lotions were app**** The patch was not removed or reapp**** My exercise routine and clothing have not changed My current pack will only last until the end of this week, and I urgently need to know whether the replacement pack will be delivered this week. The delays and lack of clear communication place me at risk of interrupted hormone therapy, which is medically unsafe. I am requesting: Immediate confirmation of whether the second pack requires its own reference number Clear timelines for delivery of both replacement packs An explanation for the repeated delays and repeated requests for information already provided Confirmation that this matter has been escalated internally This experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful, and the lack of urgency for a hormone‑related product is unacceptable. I look forward to a prompt and comprehensive resolution. Charleen

Poor recall management

I went to Dischem Wonderpark to do an exchange on recalled Citro Soda bought in Feb 2026. I was told to pay R26.90 to effect an exchange. I am a pensioner and had to drove to Wonderpark, only for that transaction. Either the manufacturer or Dischem is playing on the plight of the customers

Patients left in the lurch without alternative medication. Who can help??

Ad**** ingram is one of the few manufacturers of Codeine Phosphate which many patients with short bowel syndrome use to survive. This is the only medication that assist us with slowing down our daily output and now they have just discontinued it which means that we now have to resort to using other medication that is combined with paracetamol and this can be very harmful. Who decided the fate of myself and so many others that need this medication? They are no longer producing it and pharmacies have no alternative, except for morphine or the other meds that are mixed with other ingredients but how are we suppose to operate on morphine all day?? They obviously have no concern for the patients that are now left helpless and without an appropriate replacement and no one can answer the question why or what is the plan going forward??
