AD Care/ Mrs Heinrich refund

ADCare Centurion is a Frail care Home for the aged.We as a family found ourselves in a dilemma when in January 2016 my mother was again in hospital because of heart failure. Heart failure is progressive and debilitating illness that affects every health aspect of a person. My mother needed more attention and we might have made a rushed decision to place her with ADCare considering the circumstances, but, we trusted a centre for the aged and frail. We explained our Dilemma to Mar-Lise, and she told us they were agreeable to a temporary arrangement. So, a prorata of R4000 was paid with no commitment as we understood and could be refunded. But, we were wrong to trust AdCare because my mother although realising that we cared a great deal for her welfare, she opted to have a caregiver at home. Therefore my mother never entered the premises of ADCare Centurion and most importantly she never signed any contract with them. We explained to AdCare my mother's wishes. After requesting and pursuing them for 2 months to refund the R4000 we have had many false promises to refund and we are still empty handed. They have contraven the older person act (no13 of 2006)...
