Daylight Roberry!!!
I willingly put myself under debt review to become financially healthy after my community of property union with my ex husband. Basically I signed and agreed to the full amount I would be paying back, subsequently I have had no support along the way and NOBODY responds to my correspondence. I phone on an average of 6 times a day where I get through to NOBODY!!<br> <br> FINALLY I got through to Heidi yesterday whom is believed to be Potso's Team Leader. She then created an online portal for me where I can access my records at ease (clearly she knows I will never get through on a landline). I logged into my profile and to my utter horror I saw that I had signed for a total repayment amount of about R34000 however I am apparently being instructed according to the records in my portal that is maintained by Adcap to pay back R86000!!!!<br> <br> I will definitely be cancelling debt review and I will NEVER go back on it! People who place themselves under administration at least have some integrity and honesty as they want to pay the money back and for institutions like Adcap to do this to their clients is disgusting if you ask me....Acknowledge my cancellation now!!!!!<br>

I refer to our telephonic conversation with regards to your concerns.
The total repayment that you are referring to is the total repayment amount including all FUTURE interest and fees on all accounts. Remember that this amount is determined by your original terms that you have agreed upon with your creditors in your respective loan agreements. Debt review is a process whereby a reduced instalment is negotiated and because you are paying over a longer period, total interest might be affected. Due to the repayment terms being extended, the interest is calculated over a longer period of time.
There is however good news. Even though the interest rate will remain the rate that you signed for in your original credit agreement, this amount is subject to the provisions of Section 103(5) of the Act (In duplum rule).
