Bad service
I approached ADCAP Debt review company, asking them for help with my finances, they agreed to help, and I send in all relevant documentation. The person that did my application, Lele Ramovha, did not mail me, update me or phoned me for any updates on my financial, yet she takes my money. First creditors called me from time to time for payment and I told them I'm under debt review and Now relationship manager its Dora Phala. I settled african bank credit card early this year and I send her everything as proof (settlement amount as per african bank records and proof of settlement) and late month payment was paid to african bank card and I contacted her for help but now she isn't even returning my email and the warring factor is that african bank loan interest was 22.85% per annual but now when I check the interest as per ADCAP so called plan interest, now 60% annual. I'm so worried that if ADCAP is helping me y thy didn't even ask me how much can I afford to pay my creditors so that I can finish them in time and they didn't even tell me how much was proposed by my creditors. I'm so worried if I took the right step and I'm worried if the law is regulating this companies.
Good day Mr. Nhlapo,
I refer to our telephonic conversation.
As explained, we may only remove an account once we receive the paid up letter. We have received your proof of payment and we have requested the paid up letter from African Bank but they have not yet sent it to us.
The account will be removed on receipt thereof and the funds that have been over paid on the account will be refunded.
The interest rate of African Bank is 22.645% as per certificate of balance received from African Bank. The only account that has a 60% interest rate is your Capfin account but this is also the interest rate confirmed by them. Please take note that interest is always payable and this cannot be stopped or reduced, the interest rate will stay the same as you agreed on in your original credit agreement.
