Belittled by the owner, over a Faulty Kenwood Appliance

I wish there was a 0 Star rating for the experience I has yesterday afternoon at the Adams Discount Centre in Fourways, On the 4th of January I bought myself a Kenwood XL mixer in all excitement to use this amazing Tecnology. Yet to find out when I started whipping egg whites the machine consistently slowed down and starting up again. Almost like a car struggling to get up the hill.

I decided to pack the machine into the box and return it to Adams Discount center with the great assistance from one of the gentlemen, He plugged the machine in, and said that it is working perfectly, I told him that it would be as there is nothing inside the bowl.

I showed him the video I made off the machine being faulty, and he told me that this is perfectly normal for a Kenwood machine to do this. I decided to call Kenwood, spoke to one of the representatives explaining to them what the machine does, he did confirm that the machine could be faulty as this is not normal for a Kenwood machine to do this.

The owner of the Store came to me and told me I quote "that I am talking bull**** and I don't know anything about machines, he will refund me, and he doesn't want to do business with me" I was fuming as he belittled me Infront of other customers and his employees.

After they refunded me, one of the Store assistants came to me and told me that they had also spoken to Kenwood, and they admitted that the machine is faulty.

I am very upset, unsatisfied about the way the owner treated me with me bringing in my Kenwood Chef that I bought less than a week ago.

I won't ever recommend Adams Discount Store to anyone in Johannesburg or Gauteng, and I hope that Kenwood would reconsider before supplying their Products to Adams discount Store.
