Bad Business Conduct and finance mismanagement

<p>I approached ADAMS APPLE events and marketing to assist me with my daughters party. On 29 june they sent me quote/invoice of R10760.00 and said they will commence work upon receiving payment of R5380.00 of which I paid on that day. On 4 June I received the party invitations from them which they charged me R300.00 for. then I didn't hear from them for 2weeks of which they came to see where they will set up the stretch tent. after that I didn't hear from them until 15 June when I received an sms saying I need to pay the outstanding balance of the money by 22 June to avoid any glitches. I referred them to the signed agreement they made me sign to say that the balance if due 72 days after the event. Upon asking for update of what they have done towards the party thus far and requesting mock set up and was given pictures of some wedding I terminated my contract with them.</p> <p>ishmeal ***ner) said that there is a cancellation fee however there are costs they incurred that are non-refundable so I asked him to supply me with proof of purchase and the things he bought so that we can take it off the deposit. He refused and advised me that its fine, he will pay me my deposit back minus the 10% cancellation fee.</p> <p>The month end week I emailed the company my banking details and followed up with an sms to ask if everything is in order. When I called his number went to voicemail so I contacted his girl friend/ partner in the company Busi Toli who told me she has started working and will try and pay me half of my deposit or worst case scenario pay me R500.00 pm once he has spoken to Ishmeal they will both call me back 28 July to discuss it. I never received the call so i smsd her saying i will be seeking legal action against her the response was ök"so i went on their facebook company wall and warned people against them only then he calls saying i acted prematurely and that he is going to pay but i shouldn't write such things on their company wall and that i am being emotional and i had sms from Busi telling me i must do what i must and that i must Google emotional intelligence.</p>
