Shocking, shocking, shocking, shocking!

<p>We were referred to Adam's Alu, a company operating in and around Cape Town owned and operated by Darrel Jones for the installation of aluminium windows and doors to a new home being built. </p> <p>The service received from Darrel Jones has been SHOCKING in all respects. He incorrectly measured up almost all window and door openings with result being that the architect had to carry out remedial design work and then have the building contractor raise the entire floor level of the home by around 65mm so as to compensate for the incorrect measurements of aluminium extruded products that were manufactured using the measurements of Darrel Jones, a so-called expert in his field of work. Further to this, the installation crew that were placed onto the site by Darrel Jones were grossly incompetant and useless in every single resepct. They installed windows upside down, doors facing the incorrect way and failed to seal and waterproof any such areas installed by them.</p> <p>They abandoned the site, this after our making an advance payment in the amount of R18,000.00 of the quoted amount of R45,000.00. The damages caused as a result of their gross incompetance is uncomprehendable and has cost us an additional sum of money to remanufacture new aluminium windows and doors and to have the existing windows and doors that were incorrectly installed by Adam's Alu removed and re-installed by a competant installer. We too have been delayed from a timing point of view due to Darrel Jones's on-going lies in falsy promising to have the installation carried out and completed correctly. </p> <p>Please be warned to never use Adam's Alu or to have any dealings with Darrel Jones as you too will be severely compromised and left out of pocket. This man most certainly does not deserve to be in business, he's a blatant ****!</p>
