PLUMBERS - PLUMBLINK :( AND ER PLUMBERS:)
What is wrong with this world GREED – GREED – GREED. Let me name and shame. In December my sewage drains got blocked. The first plumber arrives and states that my drain is blocked under my window and needs to dig up the pipes. I request a quote – this does not materialise. I then contacted Plumblink to come and address the problem. Herein lies the problem. The drain gets opened and the first words out of the mouth of the plumber is “oh I like this type of problem it makes money for me”. After what appears to be ages, he tells me that my pipe is blocked – however – this time in a completely different area to the original diagnosis and quotes R10 000.00 for them to dig. I reply that too much and he says for cash he will charge R8000.00 and they will do it right now. As is was December I did not have that type of cash, they pack up and leave, drains still semi-blocked. Then in January I call out another plumber for another leaking pipe - ER Plumbers, their service was phenomenal and once they had finished, I requested a quote to look at the blocked drain. R350.00 later my drain was unblocked, and all was well. Shame on you Plumblink for your blatant attempt to “exhort” money for a job that did not even need to be done. AND a huge thumbs up to ER Plumbers, Nols and James for their excellent and professional service.
