Patrick Bapista

I entered into a contract with A & D Construction (Patrick Baptista) to do some general roofing maintenance and to replace my gutters in June 2018. I was provided with references whom I phoned and seemed to be in order. I paid 60% of the amount invoiced upfront as requested. Despite my specific request for the work to be supervised by Patrick, he did not do so. Instead he subcontracted the work and expected the subcontractors to supervise their own work. New gutters were put up in a day, hammered into old brandering. Harvey tiles were bent as no-one was supervising. Subcontractors were lucky if they got paid. Each time I confronted Patrick with things that were not correct, there was a request for more money to fix the problem. If I did not advance the monies, no more work was done. Sadly, the job was not completed and a lot of work had to be redone at extra cost. Their invoice has a business address that does not exist, so you cannot locate him when he walks away with your monies.
