MY FORD FIGO DISASTER
I bought a Ford Figo in 2013 from Action Ford Krugersdorp and have been very disappointed with the car. First it was raining inside the car and I took the car in for them to seal all the rubbers properly. Then the upholstery on the drivers door developed patches of white. I took in the car and they replaced the panel. A few months later the same thing happened. Werner came out and took photos and they replaced the panel. Well guess what? 2 months later, same thing. The steering wheel and dashboard also had white discolouration marks and the silver coloured part of the gears came off. I phoned and made an appointment with dealer principle. First he said nobody ever complained about this, later said a lady had complained but it was discovered that it had to do with makeup? Said he will give me a new car at cost. (I presumed they would just swop the car) But then Peet called wanting to re-charge me for a new car and I had to basically start paying from the beginning! As much as the dealer wants me to believe that it is my fault, the car does have problems because even the outside frame of the window on the driver's side is discoloured. The boot also has a problem. Disgusted with FORD
As stated before we are more than willing to replace the vehicle minus the usage that you have had since 2013. It is obvious that a 2015 Figo is worth more than the 2013, which will ensure that you are not in a worse off position.
Secondly the vehicle was also inspected by Ford SA who agreed that this is a very unique problem and given that panels are made in batches the chances of only your vehicle being the only one with such a problem is highly unlikely.
The position of all the complaints correlates with our finding. Please feel free to discuss your situation with me directly and we will gladly try to accommodate you again.
