I am writing an update on the formal complaint on the dissatisfaction with the service I have received concerning my vehicle at Action Ford Roodepoort.
On Friday, May 16, 2025, at approximately 17:03, I received a call informing me that the diagnostic work on my car had not yet been completed and would only commence on Monday. No further explanation for this delay was provided.
It is important to note that this update was only received after I had made three prior unsuccessful attempts to my service consultant for an update and subsequently posted a Google review detailing my experience. This sequence of events leads me to believe that the communication was a reactive measure to the pressure app****, rather than a proactive update on the status of my vehicle. Consequently, it is reasonable to assume that minimal, if any, work had been undertaken on my car by that point. Furthermore, receiving such critical information at 17:00 on a Friday does not allow for adequate alternative planning.
This experience has left me questioning the standard of customer care at your dealership. I am compelled to ask what justifies this level of service. Is it possible that my demographic as an African female has influenced the treatment I've received, or perhaps that my vehicle, being an entry-level model, is perceived as less of a priority for revenue generation?
If my patronage is not aligned with the target market for Action Ford Roodepoort, I request that this be communicated clearly so I can make alternative arrangements for my vehicle's servicing needs elsewhere.
I expect a prompt response addressing these concerns and outlining the immediate steps that will be taken to rectify this situation and complete the work on my vehicle
