Unorganised mess at OR Tambo Airport

On Friday 30 October 2020 I returned from Port Elizabeth on Flysafair. 1st - When the airplane stopped it had to park on the other side of park area for incoming planes and we travelled by buss to the entrance. After collecting luggage the usual doors to go outside was locked and all have to walk 2 levels up to a parking area for relatives to pick one up. None of the escalators, walk escalators or steps was working. I have a problem walking due to a back problem. It took me forever to get to the parking. When we got there it was the most terrible experience with a whole lot of people standing together waiting for their relatives. But the worse thing of it all was the fuel fumes in the parking area with no ventilation. I am so disappointed in OR Tambo's management. They should be fired and replaced with competent people who know what they are doing and have the knowledge to handle issues that just occured. The whole of OR Tambo was basically empty. Why didn't they open the doors directly linking with the pickup area?
