I flew JNB to EL on Kulula at 6:45. I was the second last person to checkin to the flight and due to the long queue at 6:10 (boarding started at 6:15). Upon arrival at EL airport I noticed that my luggage had no locks on it. Two TSA locks removed and upon opening my luggage I noticed various items missing ranging from jewellery, model cars and souvenirs. I immediately reported it to Kulula but sadly I know that both Kulula and ACSA would do nothing. How do you continuously allow your staff to be *******? Do you not search them? Especially those handling baggage?! We have no choice but to use you! And yet you have no care for your clients! Your staff should be searched just like passengers are searched. How can they cut locks? How can they open people’s baggage and *****? How can you encourage your staff to violate people’s privacy like this?? You need to do something about it.
