Put off our flight

<p>We "missed" our flight from cape town international to lanseria yesterday morning, when we arrived at the gate they told us that we where late and have been put off the flight and had to rebook and reschedule. We then had to fly to or tambo at an extra cost of R1700!!!! The airport was very busy we where standing in long lines. The guy at the gate said that they called us over the pa system. The system is so bad, you can hear someone talking but cant hear what they are saying! We where at the airport at 7 to ensure that we are not late!!! Something should be done about the pa system and passangers should be informed if its going to take half an hour to get to the boarding gate. I am very upset about the extra money i had to pay for this and it was not my mistake!!!! </p>
