Overcharged at East London airport parking facilities

I parked in what I thought was a normal open parking car park at East London airport, (there were no signs to tell me otherwise), to pick up my daughter. Her flight was delayed, so approximately 2 hours later when I came to pay for my ticket, I was shocked when R300.00 was demanded for parking costs. On enquiring at the Enquiries desk, I was told that I had parked in the Long Term parking lot. There were no obvious signs and when I enquired I was told by a fellow passenger who had just had the same experience as me, that there is a little sign when entering the car park, which is really illegible, very small and really understated. Even if it is the Long Term parking, can I really be charged R300.00 for 2 hours? This just doesn't make any sense to me. I really, really want to warn other would-be travellers about this incredibly unfair practice at East London car park. Talk about money-making rackets!!!
