Maybe better not to lock your luggage???
On Thursday 29 August I was traveling with Kulula from Cape Town International to Lanseria on the 08h50 flight, MN 456. My check in bag was securely lock. As we were waiting for our luggage at Lanseria I was surprised to notice how many bags on the conveyer belt was halfway open. At least 5 bags that was bubble wrapped was completely cut open. To my disappointment I discovered that my bag's lock was broken, opened and a lot of my stuff is missing. There were at least 5 people with the same problem. Surely there were more who will only discovered this when they get home! How does something like this happen? Surely there must be cameras? How can there be so many suitcases broken into on one flight? I immediately phoned Kulula customers services. They referred me to Cape Town International Lost and Found. I was told by both that I have to send an email if I have a complaint. I was really hoping that more could have been done to firstly try and address my problem (of missing goods) and for someone to look into the "problem" and prevent other customers traveling today being ******.
