***ist security at ACSA - Stop your bullying

I faced absolute embarrassment and humiliation today being stopped for a random security search.

I was stopped at the security check point and told I am stopped for a random search. I raised my objection as I asked security officer are your hands clean to go through my personal things.

My entire bag was unpacked in front of everyone with male passengers behind me. My sanitary products which include tampons and pads was on full display. It was the most embarrassing thing to go through. If you don’t know it is embarrassing for a women to have her sanitary products exposed on full display.

When I asked for the supervisor an Officer Khoza came. He did not even give me an opportunity to explain. Just told me abruptly that I was asked permission

No ACSA. This is absolutely disgusting and dehumanising
