dont waste your time ACSA Staff wont help you

Friday 11/3/2016. when I went through security at Terminal A, my back pack was scanned, I was asked to open my bag for a search, which I did.... there was a pen knife in the bag ( I have a 6 year old son that helps me pack when I go on trips) the knife which just happens to have great sentimental value for me, was remove from the bag hand to a supervisor who disposed of it . when I questioned as to why I was not given the option to take the knife back out of the security area , I was told \but I did tell you\". this was not the case I did try to resolve the issue with various persons that where just less helpful than the person before them, I was promised feed back by 10 am Monday. when I phone at 11 am the report give by the involved persons vary greatly from my version of events ( exp. for one thing I did get verbally aggressive) as expected ACSA are backing their Staff, so though luck I'm having. unfortunately I have no choice but to use airports controlled by ACSA.<br> So if you ever find yourself in my position, JUST SMILE AND MOVE ON ACSA STAFF WILL NOT HELP YOU.
