Confiscating of sharp objects

<p>My husban flew from Jhb to PE on friday 27 May 2016. Due to unforseen sircumstances he was a bit late. The cue at check in moved very slow and was very long. By the time he got to the front they were to late to get their baggage checked in. They had to take it as hand luggage so that the airhostes can take it to the luggage area of the aircraft. Due to this the sharp objects in their luggage was confiscated at the security check. Today 30 May 2016...he flew back to Jhb and went to reclaim his "leatherman" that was confiscated. The airports security employees were very unhelpfull and didn't seem to be interessted to assist at all. <br />If the tool was still at security they didn't do the effort to hand it back to my husband. But most propably someone took it....which means it was ******. <br />It is very sad that we can't even trust the secuirty at the airport anymore.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
