Best airport in Africa is a joke!

Excessively long security queues at Cape Town airport because too much hand luggage is being allowed by airlines especially on domestic flights, which passes the burden from the baggage department onto security to scan and check each item. As a result passengers who were not late in arriving, struggle to get through security in time. One staff member told me to ask the other passengers if I could skip the queue as if it was my fault! This after a long time queuing for checking in luggage as well? Make a priority queue for people who checked their luggage in and let those who didn’t have to queue at check-in use the slower security booths since all their hand luggage needs scanning. Or get more security personnel. Best airport in Africa is a joke!
