Baggage Theft

I apologize in advance for being naive, but there may be others like me who did not know that theft from passengers' luggage is standard practice at South African airports managed by the South African Airports Authority. This happened to me on 23 November flying from Cape Town to Lanseria on flight MN458. In a subsequent inquiry a Kulula staff member non-chalantly said "it happens every day". Theft is normal. Congratulations ACSA and Kulula who is clearly helpless. Or are they?
