ACSA security at OR Tambo confiscating tennis rackets

ACSA security confiscated 2 extremely valuable tennis rackets at 4pm on 22 July 2023 at OR Tambo domestic security gate. On enquiry it would appear that it is not possible for us to retrieve our property. The rackets remain our property and we insist on receiving it back. Our attempts to contact ACSA security resulted in a frustrating conversation with a woman who refused to give us her name or ways on escalating this matter. She insisted that there is no way for us to recover our property. This is completely unacceptable that ACSA can act in this matter. How should this be taken forward? The rackets were confiscated from our 16year old son and he was treated extremely badly and ***********ly by security who refused to help him to secure his rackets in storage, after his attempts to check in the rackets after the check-in gates were closed. It was a traumatic experience for him!
