ACSA not concerned about disabled people

To whom it may concern,

I have just come from Cape Town Airport after dropping my dad and am trying to get a picture of how the system works for people with crutches or in wheelchairs.

I understand Katanga is responsible for parking issues. Forget about them lowering the time from 30min to 20min for P1, but after speaking to a traffic officer by the Drop & Go and being directed by him to speak to ACSA info on the second floor, I am trying to understand how the system works for people that need assistance or more time.

After speaking to the information consultant, I understand that a person with a disability firstly needs a wheelchair sticker. He couldn't tell me where to get it. Secondly, the must be dropped in the wheelchair assistance area. Thirdly, the person bringing the disabled person must then go to (he said 20 min parking) another parking. Then go to the flight counter and book the ticket and come back to the wheelchair area and give it to the disabled person.

It seems inconsiderate as well as degrading. It needs to change asap.
