14 Sept 2026, 16:25 I am extremely dissatisfied with the service received from ACSA and the complete lack of response to my repeated communications. On 12 February, I was booked on Safair flight FA 286. I had checked in online, was travelling with hand luggage only, and arrived at the airport with sufficient time. The problem arose at the security screening area, which was chaotic, overcrowded, and poorly managed.Despite informing security staff that my flight was about to depart, I was offered no assistance. Instead, certain passengers were allowed to jump the queue and move ahead, while I was left stranded. By the time I reached the gate, boarding had closed, and I was refused entry. This forced me to rebook on the next flight, incurring unnecessary additional costs. Safair staff even confirmed that video footage existed of the incident, yet ACSA has failed to investigate or respond.I completed the complaints register at security and have since contacted ACSA multiple times. To date, there has been no accountability, no explanation, and no resolution. This is unacceptable. Passengers should not bear financial losses due to ACSA’s mismanagement of queues and failure to assist when flights are at risk. Allowing people to bypass the queue while ignoring others is disgraceful service. The silence and lack of responsibility from ACSA only highlight their disregard for customer service. I expect this matter to be treated with urgency and resolved appropriately. The lack of correspondence has been disgusting.
