Most shocking, degrading experience ever

My brother made a reservation for us to stay at Acres of Africa for two nights. We arrived just before 22pm and were met by a friendly staff member. I could see she was unsure of the procedure and the system. She asked us if we had paid, and I told her that my brother made the reservations but as far as I knew he paid. She had a look, was happy with this and took us to our rooms. The rooms were very run down, with extremely cheap finishes, but we were exhausted and happy to go to sleep. At 9am the next morning I was supposed to meet my daughter for breakfast but was met by an extremely hostile owner / manager. He immediately confronted me and asked If I had paid for the accommodation. I explained again that I did not make the reservation, but as far as I knew my it had been paid. He said that either I was lying, or his staff and he needs to know who it was. I tried to call my brother but unfortunately couldn’t reach him at that moment. I tried to explain this, and assured him that either way, it will be sorted and that we were staying for another night. He accused me of being a ***** and a ****, and insisted I paid immediately for the one night that we have spent already. I asked him if I could just try and get a hold of my brother first to clarify the situation, but the owner told me that I am the lowest of low type of person and called me a ***** numerous times. I could not believe my ears; I have never been spoken to in this manner. I paid the bill immediately and cancelled the second nights’ accommodation – I refused to stay another night. He continued belittling me in front of his staff, saying that you should never take anyone on face value, because you can never know what a ***** looks like. We went to our rooms to pack up and called an Uber to collect us. I was standing in the rain waiting to be collected, and they refused to open for the Uber driver, insisting on going through the room to see if I had taken or damaged anything in the room. I am still in shock and will not recommend anyone to ever book at this establishment.
