Aches of a freak

<p>Upon arrival at Acre of Africa, a three star graded self catering in Boksburg, we enquired about a better suited room as the one we were given did not match the offering when booking. The staff were kind enough to show us a few selections, but upon discovering they were all equal in their debilitated state, decided to take the room we were originally shown and pay the booking in full. Our clients arrived for our meeting and we sat outside the establishment at a poor excuse for a table and chairs to make the best of the situation. This was, ofcourse, pre arranged with the staff who ok'd it. 3/4 into our meeting, the 'owner' aarived at our table apologising for the inadiquate accommodation and offered us a refund. We declined tge initial offer at which time he insisted that we get our refund and summarily leave the premises. Astounded at the offer, we assured the proprietor that we would wrap up our meeting and come to sort out any misunderstanding. After our clients left, equally as embarrased as we were, we made sure to remove our luggage from the room and proceeded to the reception desk to collect our refund. The 'owner' then proceeded to accost us of being the worst guests he had ever had at his establishment, regardless of never even meeting us in the first place, and on top of that said he would charge us one of the three days booked as we had 'moved stuuf around' in the room and used his facilities for a meeting. We accepted the docking of one day, although he continued reminding us that "I am the king of this castle" and that "I can do as I want, I run four comapanies, where I am the big shot, not you." I would strongly advise anyone who is considering to stay at Acre of Africa to stay away for fear of being blatantly, and beligerantly (to the point of nonsense) to be attacked as we were by this 'owner'. Our initial impression was that the place did not deserve a three star rating at all, but gave in to our better judgement and decided to stay anyway. BIG MISTAKE. If this is review is not good enough, please book an evening at Acre of Africa to be treated to the worst hospitality on offer in South Africa.</p>
