WRONG PHONE SOLD

Good Day

On the 3rd of July 2021 my father asked me what do I want for my birthday gift as I have just celebrated it and he didn't get me a gift. I told him to buy me a phone, I specifically asked him to buy me a Hisense Infinity E30 Lite with Dual Sim at Ackermans.

Him, my younger sister and mom went to Ackermans at Groblersdal Shop 9, Tombaans Building, 9 HereFord str, were together in the store. My mom even asked the lady who was assisting them before they could pay, if really that phone inserts 2sim and she said yes. Instead of being given a (Dual Sim Hisense Infinity E30 Lite phone, we were given a Hisense Infinity E30 Lite with Dual Camera and single Sim).

I only realized Saturday Evening when the phone was handed to me by my father that the phone actually takes 1sim.

So yesterday on the 8 July 2021,because it is only when we got taxi money to go to Groblersdal we spend R80 for return from home, then I sent my sister to go and explain the matter to Ackermans . The reason why I sent her because the phone was purchased with her ID and Proof of residence . The branch manager her name Amanda said she will NOT help us because she does not want to acknowledge that the mistake was done by her team and we were given the wrong phone. She even said we should point the person who helped them with purchasing the phone , how is it possible to point a person when everyone is wearing a face mask.

So here is my question, how possible could have it been my parents who came with the phone from the store Room because we don't have access to Ackermans storeroom.

I feel that their service is very bad especially the branch manager who is not neutral to this matter and blame us for being irresponsible. My Dad is 58 years and mom 55 years their are not fami**** with this kinds of smart phones and trusted Ackermans to sell us the right product. We request that either the phone be exchanged or we ask for refund.

I request that we get assistance.
