worst experience in applying for an account at ackermans

I have never in my life experienced such bad customer experience. I tried to apply for a credit application yesterday and was turned down due to affordability. I was told I should contact Trans union regarding this matter. Trans union informed me taht my credit score is perfect. When I phoned ackermans again I was told it was turned down to affordability. I am not buying a house. I just want to open an account. Ackermans then told me I should wait 6 months to apply again. I am utterly disgusted in their bahaviour.
