we didn't receive the advertised data bundles

We bought the Vodacom tab for R1000 on Sat. When we walked in there was an adverti*****t by the door that if you buy this tab you get data bundles. When we at the till point the lady working next to Thabiso asked him why he isn't giving us the budles and he brushed her off, I then asked him why he wasn't giveng us the bundles and I didn't get a clear answer. I called Vodacom and they said to wait for 24 hrs maybe the bundles were automatically loaded and they would only reflect after 24 hours. If this deal is not available then why was it advertised on the door? If I do not get the data bundles, I will bring the phone back and buy it at Pep becuase they promised to give us data bundles for 2 months
