This store has gone to the dogs!

On 15 October 2026, I was doing my grocery shopping at Southdale Shopping Centre so I quickly went into Ackerman's to buy some underwear. I was pushing a trolley; there was no one at the door so I went in and started shopping. There was only one cashier working and the queue was slow. As I was leaving the store, a middle-aged female staff member(dark in complexion) stopped me at the door and I paused to give her my till slip. She went through my underwear one by one and then continued to go through my groceries saying "we have to check everything". I was seriously disturbed by this because she did not sanitize her hands, Ackerman's does not sell food and she is not a trained security officer. I am disgusted by the service I got from this store and I will never buy from any Ackerman's again!
