Terrible repair policy by Ackermans Randridge mall

On 09 Nov 2023 I purchased a phone at Ackermans store at Randridge mall. It’s a Premio S54. Within a month the screen of the phone was malfunctioning but I could not return it because I was out of town on sick leave. Today I decided to take the phone in but I have lost the receipt and I am being told that I cannot be returned for repairs without the slip. I bought the phone with the store account meaning there is history of the transaction but I’m being told that it’s impossible to take it for repairs. Apparently transaction history can only be used for ***** cases. I think this is unfair considering the fact of how easy it is to loose a piece of paper.
