Still Waiting For Paid Up/Settlement letter

I have paid up my debt with a debt collector company called VVM and i have called ackerman's offices and it wasn't a nice experience had to keep dropping the calls just so i cant speak to someone nicer and who is willing to understand what i needed which was just a paid up letter. That was 1-2 weeks ago and still I haven't received the paid up/settlement letter.
