Reaching out to Ackermans

My wife got a phone through "phone yam" with Ackermans last month, on her name. I paid the deposit. She is unemployed. The idea was that I will pay the monthly installment for the phone. However, I found out she has been having affairs behind my back and things got heated. I chased her out and took away the phone. Her sim card is the only one which can work on this phone, but since she has left I wanted to register my sim card. She does not want to co-operate given our current issues.

I want to continue with the agreement and I will make monthly payments. Otherwise I lose the deposit that I already paid and the installment that has already been paid. She refuses to get involved. I am hoping we could be level headed and allow me to take over this phone and make monthly payments. That way we both win. Otherwise the phone will sit without being used and I cannot pay for a phone that does not work. Returning the phone is also not an option since I already paid monies which I will not be refunded.
