Poor customer service.

Last month, I did an online application for an Ackermans Store card. Shortly after I sent through the application, I received an sms saying that my application was declined. There was no reason stated in the sms so I called customer service, to request an explanation, as it is my right as the customer to know why I was declined. All the agent told me is that, the application is not subject to affordability and dodged giving me a direct explanation. I'm very disappointed with the poor service, especially since according to my knowledge, I have a good credit score & I've been shopping at ackermans for my kids for many years and I expected more.
