Ived recently discovered that 2 policies was open in my name witch only 1 I knew about,never checking my statements then in Oct I checked it cos I was wondering I'm paying my account every month but it seems like my balance is always the same then I discovered a policy was opened in January without my consent,money that was supposed to go on my account I went to Ackerman's to query then I was put on a call with a guy named thabo he told me I need to get affidavit from the police station stating I want a refund, did that send them all my document to get a message back saying Miss Moses you cancel your policy sorry to see you go,ived send a email to customer service at Ackerman's to get a call my documents were never recieved then this lady told me I need to resend it this time I need to go back to the police station to get my a copy of my I.D certified and with 5 signatures on it n I did it still haven't heard anything of them my thing is how could they open a policy if u haven't given any consent ppl please check ur statements n make sure that you only paying what u supposed to pay...ived Learn my lesson check your statement
