NOT TREATING CONSUMERS FAIRLY
My name is Doris Christine Oosthuizen. I have made small payments throughout COVID to my account that's outstanding with Tenacity Ackermans. After paying my last instalment of R162.31 on the 6th of May 2022 at the Parow Centre branch I was told by the store and call center that I have an outstanding balance of R300. Also the Parow Center store wasn't very helpful as they had to look for their phone which took over 3 minutes to find to call the head office. It was said that the account has been handed over to Collections Attorneys without my knowledge and I have been harassed for payment by them too. I explained that the account is up to date however up until today they are still harassing me. These calls are stressing me out and was told by a physician that I can get a stroke. My ID number is *** and card number is *** and this is the number of the Collections Attorneys ***.
As compensation for my stress and anxiety I would a R3000 voucher and this issue to be sorted by no later than 26th of May 2022. I can confirm that I have also sent an email to the Retail Ombudsman, NCR and your complaints team.
