No Camera's

A week ago I went shopping with my little boy at Boulders mall, midrand. The mall looked very untidy with shoes on the floor everywhere which made it hard to walk around the store given the small size and would have been subject to tripping on the floor whilst holding my child. Nonetheless as i proceeded to go pay for my items, there was a lady standing behind me who opened my bag and took my phone and then immediately disappeared. When i realised my phone was gone, i spoke to the staff in order to view the camera footage so i could open a case of theft and to my surprise, i was told they dont have camera's although i saw them installed. I'm extremely disappointed that the store doesn't take customer safety seriously and if they had these camera's they/ and us customers would then be able to identify these perpetrators if they were displaced somewhere in the store. I have also subsequently notified my family and friends of this incident and they too share the same sentiments, i doubt i will be shopping in the store again.
