Mediocre Ackermans

Entering the store, no one was there to observe Covid regulations, a bottle of sanitizer is placed by the door for self application. When deciding on the item my wife wanted to purchase we proceeded to the till point. There was no-one there and we know there is only one pay point. We saw some people standing in between the clothes chatting but no-one had a uniform or identifiable tag etc. We stood there and eventually one of the individuals chatting between the shelves came to the till, greeted us and started to ring up the items. No happiness, don't know if we bothered them in their conversation.
