So Ackermans (Pepcor) believe South Arfica's economy is doing extremely well. So well in fact, they have decided they no longer need loyal, well paying customers any longer. My John Craig account card was canceled in store in order to replace it with current Ackermans account card. Then I am informed that my valid South African passport is not an appropriate for Identification, therefore a new Ackermans account card can not be issued to me. I now have an active, up to date account I can no longer make use of. My purchases had to put back on the rack, and I left the store purchase free. Well done Ackermans let's hope all your loyal customers are treated in the same manner. It seems the Covid Pandemic and the escalating unemployment numbers have dons little to your bottom line.
