Lost Lay-bye met with attitude
On Monday 2015-10-12 at around 13:50 I went to Ackerman's Blue Route Mall to take out a lay-bye. I was made to wait around 15 minutes even though the shop wasn't busy. Eventually the parcel was brought forward, whereupon I could see that the bag was torn open. I had to enquire what was going on as the bag was just left on the counter and everyone went about doing their thing. The guy that brought the parcel then in told one of the cashiers to put the lay-bye in a new bag. He then turned to me nonchalantly and said that there's a shoe missing. and I can get a refund.
I am shocked and appalled that a shop can just lose something that I paid for and the worst was how they reacted. They basically tried to ignore me. Asking me what I wanted to do. Not providing solutions. No one wanted to even go look for the other shoe. And when the guy was asked to go look he rolled his eyes. Not once did anyone apologise. I decided on a refund as I could see no outcome other than blank stares. The receipt cheekily states that I changed my mind. Ha! As I was leaving Chanel asked me would I be interested if they found the shoe. I rep**** no, as much as I liked the shoes.
