Kiddies Morning slippers

My grandson aged 3.6yrs had a pair of morning slippers on,purchased at Ackermans. On the eve of Saturday 11 November after his bath he played outside on the driveway.Whilst playing he fell on the side of his head, leaving him with an instantaneous huge knob, and crying uncontrolably as a result thereof. He became rather dizzy and sleepy. My wife who has been in the employ of the best Neurosurgeon in SA for almost 30 yrs then suggested we not let him sleep as this could cause further damage, not knowing what the extent of the fall could have done.At approx 22h30 that evening we had to rush the boy to the emergency room at hospital,as he was vomitting profusely. He stayed overnight for observation, after scans and x-rays was done, and only discharged the Sunday afternoon late.I have taken it up with the Ackermans Group(Tenacity)but up until now...20 November has had no positive feedback in this regard. The reason for this post as mentioned to Ackermans Group is my concern as to how a product of such inferior quality made it to the shop shelves. The morning slippers in question has a Batman logo on,and has something like a plastic type of sole.My request to the group was to investigate the matter, and let me have some sort of C.O.C /Certificate Of Compliance. My point is this.........Someone needs to take responsibility for inferior quality products reaching our shelves and posing a danger for our precious kids.
